Brenda McCafferty
Artist

Brenda McCafferty is a self-taught, loosely representational artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. She has been drawn to visual art since early childhood but committed to the discipline in mid-life.  
Brenda has exhibited widely across Southern Ontario. Her work has been well received in multiple juried gallery shows and online gallery exhibitions (apart from her own website). She has been a featured artist in several galleries and participated in live-painting, artist talks. Brenda was happy to become a finalist for a juried competition in support of Alzheimer’s Research.
Brenda’s work has also featured at fundraising shows and annual outdoor (juried) exhibitions around the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area.
Brenda follows her intuition to create expressive and striking compositions. Her florals and landscapes range from loosely representational to decidedly abstract, but consistently rejoice in the simple delight of colour.

Life is not easy and finding joy is sometimes nothing more then a choice that is not easy to make.
